Lake LBJ Wet Meet being held April 19-21st
Our club holds a Spring and Fall weekend meet at Valentines Lakeside Lodge www.valentinelakeside.com located in Kingsland, Tx on beautiful Lake LBJ located 61 miles northwest of Austin. Lake LBJ is a constant level lake that is more like a river. Valentines Lodge has old style 1960’s one and two room cabins with kitchenettes along with RV spots. A boat ramp and 7boat slips that all come with boat lifts. It has picnic tables in front of most cabins and many trees on the property.
Call Valentines at 325-388-4418 to make your reservations and give your one night deposit. There is a two night minimum. The online reservations on the Valentines website has their regular pricing so you need to call directly to get our TX Chapter club price. Susan Patten the owner is super nice and very accommodating.
It is also recommend that you look at their website to see all the information about the resort including map of the property showing the locations of the different cabins by unit # along with many resort photos. I encourage you to click on the Policy link at the bottom of website so you know information regarding cancellations, pets etc.
This meet is always well attended and looked forward to by our members. This a great meet to run your motors, catch up with members, eat well and relax. We do have a lot of fun. We typically all go out as a group for our Friday night dinner to an all you can eat catfish restaurant and have an organized Saturday night dinner that is cooked on the property.
